| Pros: What do you like about 2006 GMC Sierra?
I got mine with 3400 on it and I love it. I had a 1995 it was like new when I let it go. This is the bast truck I've ever had no mater what I am going to have to do to it later. The ride on and off road is the best. Cons: How would you improve 2006 GMC Sierra?

I have had a bad hum on the right front side, from day one. Took it to shop 6 or 7 times, with no help cant keep weights on tires. I WILL NEVER GET ANOTHER GMC AGAIN....PS I tried to tail the shop man the truck needs new tires with no luck. I get it payed off it is gone. If no one can fix this. 2006 GMC Sierra Review:
NO GOOD......DON'T GET ONE, GO WITH FORD OR DODGE OR ANYTHING BUT GMC 1500 sierra truck. THANK YOU. (O) I had 1989 GMC before this one it was the best ever. |

Clean looking well designed exterior...Superior handling on snow covered roads using the 4WD Auto feature..Quiet engine & by taking it easy on the gas pedal I get 22MPG Highway with the 5.3L Z71 package. Cons: How would you improve 2006 GMC Sierra?
Interior has some areas that were not well though out but overall still very good. Ride had a'chunky feeling' until truck got about 15,000 miles on it. I.e you felt every bump in the road in an exaggerated fashion 2006 GMC Sierra Review:
Compared most other brands US & Imports but came bac k to GMC becuase it's just plain a 'Better Truck that the rest....' |

Make interior look more modern, brighter materials and better fit and finish. 2006 GMC Sierra Review:

Love the performance. Looks and drives like a great truck. Pulls my 10,000lb. boat like it's not there. Cons: How would you improve 2006 GMC Sierra?
BIGGER FUEL TANK!! My 2001 Dodge had a 34 gallon tank. I stop for fuel every other day with this thing! |

The slt is far away the best in class when compaired witht the ford lariat and Dodge slt. Ride, handling and all-around performance was better even than the haralded hemi!!!!!! Cons: How would you improve 2006 GMC Sierra?
Can't think of anything, I tested and drove all (american) makes and this one is hands down the best of the bunch....it and it's sister the Silverado and head and shoulders above dodge and ford!!!!! 2006 GMC Sierra Review:
I purchased a Sierra SLT with ALL the options and am very very happy with it. The fit and finish is better than dodge and ford and the standard features just blows them away!!! I pull a 6500 pound trailer daily and I have owned fords 3/4 ton with the v-10 while good at pulling it killed you on gas, the 5.3 of the Sierra pulls almost as good and in far far better luxury, simply no comparison, I tried the f-150 and WHAT A JOKE!!!!! that truck is not made for work!!!!! no guts on that one! the dodge seems to just hunt for gears while pulling.....sad sad! The sierra kicked it's butt in pulling and even the so-called mighty hemi was nothing but a whimper! |

4 wheel steering, power, mileage, interior room. 2006 GMC Sierra Review:
It has 4 wheel steering and it is great when im towing my trailers or I need to park in a tight spot. The truck has all the power I need and it gets about 18-19 mpg, 16 mpg when towing. The seats are like sitting in a lazyboy, very comfortable. I love my truck. |

Rear seat audio and the Bose stereo system. Climate control forboth passenger and front seat occupant! Leather captains chairs are very comfortable. Cons: How would you improve 2006 GMC Sierra?
My only change might be to get the longer bed next time! Make sure and get the universal home link transmitter for garage door opener! 2006 GMC Sierra Review:
Truck is very smooth. My wife has never driven one of my trucks by choice, but she wants to drive this one.I have owned Ford, Dodge. This is my first Z-71 Sierra. All the toys included except for a universal garage door opener. The engine is powerful and fast. Smooth acceleration fools you as to you actual speed. The MPG is approximately 3 miles per gallon more than my 2001 dodge truck. I live in hilly areas and the 4X4 truck averages 15 MPG. With 2 growing boys the Crew Cab gives them more than enough room in the back seat, grown adults no longer mind riding in the back seat of my truck. This is a can't miss vehicle! If you are looking for a new truck test drive this one!! |

8 way power seats, two more cup holders up front 2006 GMC Sierra Review:
I have owned Toyota, Nissan, Chevrolet, and Ford trucks. I chose this GMC truck because I could reach into the bed without having to climb into the truck bed as you have to on Fords. I wanted the full four doors, a small, but powerful V-8 5.3 L. It get equal gas mileage to a Nissan Frontier yet I get a real full size truck for the same price. The seats are very comfortable. I can get into the cab of the truck without stepping onto steps, or hitting my head because the door opening is small as on the Toyotas. It turns sharp, rides nice, handles well, and it came with dual climate zones. My wife loves that. It's the little things that also count such as, fuel filler on drivers side, fog lamps |
