I own a 06 Taurus and I luv it!!!!!!! It has speed, power, and overall I feel safe. Belive it or not don't be fooled that it passes as a "Grandma car". Cons: How would you improve 2006 Ford Taurus?
I just wish that the radio console didn't take up a lot of room, meaning if I want a non-factory radio, I have to pull the whole center console out. 2006 Ford Taurus Review:

My car has saved my life twice in two months. It took a head on impact at 50 mph and I still drove it away with only a bent up front end and I was perfectly fine. The very next month it took being sandwiched at 60 mph like a champ. I did have it repaired that time. The front end was crumpled just a little on the hood, and the bumper had a little dent. I still drive it today and I drive it 180 miles a day and have put over 90,000 miles on it so far. I'm going to drive this car until it can't go anymore!!! I love it!!! The only way that I would improve it is to make it so that you can install a non-factory radio in the dash. 2006 Ford Taurus Review:
This is the best car hands down for the money. The trunk is HUGE!!! The spare tire & jack is easy to get to and is still concealed under the trunk space with a carpet covering. The interior is beautiful and easy to maintain. Love it!!! |

My wife is having a baby and this car will be the perfect car with the room it offers as well as the large trunk and safety features. My sister has one with over 150000 miles and has yet to have a problem with it. Cons: How would you improve 2006 Ford Taurus?
Any car with power windows should include an auto up feature as well as the auto down feature. Plus it could use a little more power, I'm not going say say better fuel economy simply because I'd rather have more power and usually more power, bigger engine equates lower fuel economy. 2006 Ford Taurus Review:
For what I wanted in this car it's perfect. Lots of features, decent fuel economy, large interior and cargo room and most importantly if bought used there isn't a car out there that dollar for dollar can compare. |

The dashboard design and the overall looks of the car -- in motion or standing still.The trunk space is as large as my neighbor's big car. After three years, my body paint looks like new and when you close the door, it sounds like quality. Cons: How would you improve 2006 Ford Taurus?
Make the carpet a little longer where it meets the front door sill to keep it from possibly coming out -- mine hasn't but it could. Use a better grade of paint on the door frames around the windows -- mine has blown away in the wind. 2006 Ford Taurus Review:
The only thing I wish I could have had on my Taurus would be the keyless entry we have on our Mercury. Once in a while people get lucky; we have two great cars and I like the design of the Taurus from every angle. I have a friend who has a Toyota and I pointed out to him the building differences -- doors that have hinges strong enough to close vaults and the feel of strength and quality in the interior. He agrees with me and says his next car will be a Ford. Incidentally -this is my fifth Ford. The only thing that was and is disappointing was the paint on the windows around the doors; it's deteriorated. |
