Pros: What do you like about 2006 Ford Freestar? Nice ride, a little loud but I can live with it. Plenty space with 3 teenage kids and storage space. Cons: How would you improve 2006 Ford Freestar? Not enough drive space. I am a big man I feel cramp. Plus, wrong place for cup holders. 2006 Ford Freestar Review: Nice not bad for the money.

Pros: What do you like about 2006 Ford Freestar? Power side doors and the power lift gate are nice. Cons: How would you improve 2006 Ford Freestar? I would make it feel more substantial with more comfy seats and a nicer cabin. The controls feel like flimsy plastic. Also the road noise is very loud. 2006 Ford Freestar Review: I love the convieniance of driving a van but the quality does not feel very high. I wish I had bought a different van. I owned a Ford Expedition before the van and we loved it. This Ford product has been a disapointment.

Pros: What do you like about 2006 Ford Freestar? I like the tall seating position, and the double flip feature of the rear-most seat. I also like the huge rear window. Interior ceiling height makes it great for transporting my bicycles. Cons: How would you improve 2006 Ford Freestar? Fold and store for the middle row of seats would be lovely. 2006 Ford Freestar Review: This is the overlooked sibling of the minivan market, but having driven Chrysler vans and the first-generation Honda van, I can tell you this is a excellent bargain. I bought mine second-hand with about 5K miles on it, and paid at least $10K less than the more popular vans. The basic SE model has a number of convenience features in the cabin, including a flexible seating plan, lots of cup holders, etc. Only mechanical problem so far (now have 12K miles) was a leaking transmission gasket, repaired under warranty, but still a hassle.

Pros: What do you like about 2006 Ford Freestar? One of my favorite features of this van is the dash board. The woodgrain is awesome, and the dash is just well placed. Cons: How would you improve 2006 Ford Freestar? The only improvements for the Freestar i have to offer is leather trim on the SEL models and better towing capacity. 2006 Ford Freestar Review: The Freestar was the best van for me and my family. It had better exterior styling than the Chevrolet Uplander or the Venture. It also had a more refined interior than the Chevy vans. It was more comfort table and versatile and fit in with our life styles more.

Pros: What do you like about 2006 Ford Freestar? Safety features -- side impact air bags and others -- were a real motivator to get me to buy. But this is not standard -- I had to choose a more expensive model to get them. 2006 Ford Freestar Review: We purchased a Ford Windstar several years ago when we found out I was pregnant with out third child. I really enjoyed that vehicle, so when I was considering what to purchase this year as a replacement -- the Freestar made the most sense. Overall, I am pleased with the Freestar. However, I do think the Windstar had a little more passenger room. The third seat in the back of the Freestar is versatile -- able to total recede it into the floor or use it as a stadium seat -- but we lost seating space. Given the choice, I'd take the seating space. Good vehicle.

Pros: What do you like about 2006 Ford Freestar? AWD, DVD, all seats fold flat (except for drivers of course!). Very smooth. 2006 Ford Freestar Review: Went from an Explorer to this. Great change. Great cargo space, 7 seats, DVD, easy to drive, better mileage. Don't feel like I'm driving a hulk, but still have the space. Definitely recommend.

Pros: What do you like about 2006 Ford Freestar? In both government and insurance crash tests the Freestar did 5 star. Very comfortable. Cons: How would you improve 2006 Ford Freestar? Road noise should be less, better tires should come on the Limited. 2006 Ford Freestar Review: The day my wife finally decided to get rid of the Sedona we did not hesitate to buy the Freestar. Ford has done an excellent job putting a SAFE, comfortable, attractive vehicle on the road at a reasonable price. One thing I would like to address is the power issue. A consumer magazine stated the vehicle was under-powered; my question is compared to what? The Freestar does not have the power my '04 Marauder, with SuperChip and K&N air induction, but it has ample power for a back road pass or a trip up I40 or I26 into the mountains of NC.

Pros: What do you like about 2006 Ford Freestar? Roomy interior with lots of storage space. The 4.2 liter engine has ample power for the size of the vehicle and although it is rated at 23 mpg on highway, several long road trips have averaged nearly 26 mpg. In town it gets about 18 which is average for all minivans. It all depends on how you drive. Cons: How would you improve 2006 Ford Freestar? Power doors should be an option on lower models, not just the highest package SEL or Limited. Maybe a full size spare as well. Overall this is a GREAT van in this class. 2006 Ford Freestar Review: After test driving GM, Ford and Chrysler models, we found the Freestar to have the best qualities for the money. The Freestar has nearly all the features of the competitors and in some cases more. Hands down this beats the GM vans and the Chrysler is nice but not worth the extra $2000 to $4000 more for the same features.

Pros: What do you like about 2006 Ford Freestar? Safety! We have four younger children, and safety is our number one concern. Beyond that, however, we like a lot of the other amenities as well. Cons: How would you improve 2006 Ford Freestar? Compared to the other minivans in this class, the fuel mileage is not great. Also, I would like to see a DVD system standard in the Limited. 2006 Ford Freestar Review: We also own a 1999 Windstar. We decided this time we would probably move to the Honda or Toyota minivans to get some of the conveniences and creature comforts they offered. Upon shopping around, we found that, for the final money paid, it was a "no-brainer" and we're in a 2005 Freestar. When we considered cost, safety ratings, comfort and looks, the Ford was the best value by far.

2006 Ford Freestar Review: While the fuel economy may not be the best, I have no issues with the horsepower or speed of the engine at all ... the "get up and go" so to speak of the Freestar is wonderful. The interior is roomy and comfortable, with plenty of room for 6 or 7. My one downfall with the interior is that the third row seat does not fit my sons' booster seats very well; the buckles of the seat belt sit behind the boosters and therefore my children do not ride in the back often. But the availability to stow the third row in the trunk is wonderful. It's a very stylish minivan and I'm proud to drive it!
