I have been a Dodge truck owner for 12 years starting with a 95 2500 v-10, 2001 1500, 2003 1500 hemi and now a 2006 1500 laramie and to say this is a great truck. The overall performance and style is by far the best dodge has turned out. Cons: How would you improve 2006 Dodge Ram 1500?
Need a mds indicator light, 2006 Dodge Ram 1500 Review:

I have a dodge 2006 with the hemi mds. I like the performance, and sleek tough design. I also like the steering and handling and braking power. And the tow haul package matches and even beats the other pickups. And it is absolutely quiet. Can hardly hear it run with the big hemi I have in it. And is especially quiet inside the cab. Cons: How would you improve 2006 Dodge Ram 1500?
One thing you can improve on is the seatbelt. It inconveniently keeps tucking itself in behind the seat when you get out. And when you get back in, if you don't remember to put the belt up on the seat before you get back in, then you have to reach behind the seat with little room to grab it every single time. A bit of a pain if you ask me. 2006 Dodge Ram 1500 Review:
I have had a 1996 and a 2001 dodge ram in the past, all which was new. I love the trucks I've had. They both had the 5.2 318 engine. But I have to say that this truck I have now beats them both by a landslide. The power is better, and acceleration that tops both my other trucks that I have had in the past.It is a safer truck and a more reliable truck. And the crash rating far surpasses the others I have had. The quietness in the cab is an experience all should try out. The acceleration at a stop light leaves all others so far still sitting at the last light.The steering is better than the last trucks, and the great braking power makes you feel safe. |

Good fit and finish. Very quiet almost too quiet. Flame red is a beautiful color. Good nighttime illumination. Very solid feel. Cons: How would you improve 2006 Dodge Ram 1500?
As mentioned fuel economy. An indicator light to show when MDS is functioning with a guage showing aproximate fuel savings. Even with door seal improvements, the mirrors or the seals still allow an excess of wind noise. 2006 Dodge Ram 1500 Review:
