I have always loved muscle cars. I wanted to be a race car driver as a little girl..
When they brought out the New Charger I was in love.. I bought my 2006 Charger Se 3.5 high output Inferno Red Metalic Pearl paint job on May 30, 2006.
I love everything about it it has a great sounds system and great ESP the worked great in the Illinois snow.. I love my car I get some me heads that turn when they look at me. I have a little over 47000 miles on it right now.. I love the adjustable pedals.. Cons: How would you improve 2006 Dodge Charger?
I wish the 2006 Se would have came with fog lights.
Better wheel covers..
I did have the O ring replaced a couple of months after I had the car but that was standard recall no biggie to me..
I have had to replace the tire rod on the driver side.. but I made a lot of trips to Georgia and Georgia has some rough highways and streets.. 2006 Dodge Charger Review:

Nice car but too many issues. First it was a trans leak - no biggie. They fixed it. But then they replaced tie rods on both sides twice in less than a year. Now have to replace lower control arms suspension. Sucks. |

The looks, styling, and power. Cons: How would you improve 2006 Dodge Charger?
Better fuel economy.
Better winter drivability, tires, wheels are developing leaks around the bead.
I have had no problems with the brake rotors, and only a slight trans leak that was fixed. (O-ring composite under extreme cold.)
Make the cup holders in the rear better, they do not hold a coffee cup when you kick in the Hemi, (coffee all over the floor and seats).
The computer lost communication with the keys the other day, and left my wife stranded at work (not good). I reset the computer by disconnecting the battery, but the dealer said they would prefer I had the car towed $ yea Chrysler knows there is a problem but still no fixes.
The power windows quit working also, if you push the switch and slam the door they will work again, it is said they have bad regulators, the brushes in the motor are loose.
And the front end parts are crappy, I put new tie rod ends on it and the local cop car has had three sets of balljoints. 2006 Dodge Charger Review:

Need to RECALLED on the gear shift, that is a factory problem just had to replace it. There were other chargers there getting the same repair. 2006 Dodge Charger Review:

I am at the repair shop all too often and the older the car gets my trips are increasing. I have replaced the o ring -transmission, shifter, tire rod, rear rotors twice, brakes, resurface front rotors, and now I need tires. The car constantly develop new squeaks and rattles especially under the dashboard. My boyfriend has an 2005 Magnum and many of his problems mirror the problems with my 2006 Charger. |

Loved the car from the first time I saw it.
Love the interiors bucket seats with the suede.
Got 70k and still no major problems just normal were and tear.. I've been hard on this car too. Cons: How would you improve 2006 Dodge Charger?
More selection of tires rated for this car.
More details inside the cabin and not just sticking a HEMI badge and the engine in the car.
And the price could be a little more reasonable. Because the 6.1 definitely has more power for 10k more... 2006 Dodge Charger Review:

I love this car. I always get positive comments about it where ever I go. It is one tough looking vehicle. I have the GoManGo. Had an Intrepid and was ready to swap.......walked in the dealership and it was on the floor room and fell in love instantly. The color really suits this car. It looks menacing and when you hit the pedal........it is. Have had zero problems with it. Mine is 1520 of 4000. I have loved Chargers since 1966. The 1966 model was a beautiful car. My brother-in-law had one......white with a red interior. Plan on keeping this car until circumstances make be sell or trade it. Plus, I actually like the four doors. Have never understood why this was an issue with Chargers. |

BUY A FORD 2006 Dodge Charger Review:
Last year had car rental 22 days. Transmission, top end of engine. Transmission does not shift sometimes. It's in the shop now. They found a bad temp sensor in trany and leak on intake. Waiting on parts, been 7 days. Have extended warranty or this car would have cost thousands of dollars. Owe $21,000 of car only worth $11,000 to $13,000 on trade in. It will be a cold day in the tropics before another mopar comes in my driveway. |

It's truly a uniquely American muscle car that is highly practical. It's styling doesn't try to imitate European or Asian sedans. It turns heads of all ages and has an ominous presence. 2006 Dodge Charger Review:
I've owned my Midnight Blue R/T for 7 months and could not be any more satisfied. I’m the type that has historically placed far more emphasis on performance and aesthetics rather than practicality, however, now I have it all. And since I live in the Midwest, I was able to test this big rear drive beast in some very sloppy road conditions. It was steady as a rock, with its ESP and traction control giving me supreme confidence. The performance is fiendishly fun, and it's aggressive, muscular styling causes most other vehicles to wet themselves. Oh, and the aural pleasantries dispensed by the HEMI are just spiritual. The Charger R/T is most certainly a "car guy's" car... and actually plays well with the family. I highly recommend this vehicle. |

Comes w/CHEAP tires that need replaced after 15k miles. Rotors are constant problem. 2006 Dodge Charger Review:
Love the car but Chrysler needs to not be so cheap. Is 35k car and shouldn't have trans fluid leaks and need new tires and 2 sets of brakes by the time there is 20k miles on the car. |
