Pros: What do you like about 2006 Dodge Charger?

Style, comfort, handling, sound system, and most of all when I hit the gas pedal it responds great. Lots of power.

2006 Dodge Charger Review:

I love this car. I always get positive comments about it where ever I go. It is one tough looking vehicle. I have the GoManGo. Had an Intrepid and was ready to swap.......walked in the dealership and it was on the floor room and fell in love instantly. The color really suits this car. It looks menacing and when you hit the pedal........it is. Have had zero problems with it. Mine is 1520 of 4000. I have loved Chargers since 1966. The 1966 model was a beautiful car. My brother-in-law had one......white with a red interior. Plan on keeping this car until circumstances make be sell or trade it. Plus, I actually like the four doors. Have never understood why this was an issue with Chargers.

Better fuel economy, Better winter drivability, tires, wheels are developing leaks around the bead. I have had no problems with the brake rotors, and only a slight trans leak that was fixed.(O-ring composite under extreme cold)
Make the cup holders in the rear better, they do not hold a coffee cup when you kick in the Hemi,(coffee all over the floor and seats).

2006 Dodge Charger Review:

Last year had car rental 22 days. Transmission, top end of engine. Transmission does not shift sometimes. It's in the shop now. They found a bad temp sensor in trany and leak on intake. Waiting on parts, been 7 days. Have extended warranty or this car would have cost thousands of dollars. Owe $21,000 of car only worth $11,000 to $13,000 on trade in. It will be a cold day in the tropics before another mopar comes in my driveway.

It's truly a uniquely American muscle car that is highly practical. It's styling doesn't try to imitate European or Asian sedans. It turns heads of all ages and has an ominous presence.

I've owned my Midnight Blue R/T for 7 months and could not be any more satisfied. I’m the type that has historically placed far more emphasis on performance and aesthetics rather than practicality, however, now I have it all. And since I live in the Midwest, I was able to test this big rear drive beast in some very sloppy road conditions. It was steady as a rock, with its ESP and traction control giving me supreme confidence. The performance is fiendishly fun, and it's aggressive, muscular styling causes most other vehicles to wet themselves. Oh, and the aural pleasantries dispensed by the HEMI are just spiritual. The Charger R/T is most certainly a "car guy's" car... and actually plays well with the family. I highly recommend this vehicle.

Comes w/CHEAP tires that need replaced after 15k miles. Rotors are constant problem.

Love the car but Chrysler needs to not be so cheap. Is 35k car and shouldn't have trans fluid leaks and need new tires and 2 sets of brakes by the time there is 20k miles on the car.

Straight line performance for such a big and heavy can. Exhaust note at wide open throttle. Looks like no other car.

Too quite at idle. Cruise control requires the drive to take eyes off the road to operate. Stability control does not completely turn off. Needs another gear between 1st and 4th.

At a glance it looks like a 2 door but, it's a sedan on steroids.Love it.

For the price that I paid ($33,000, it should not quit running at 125 MPH (the speedo reads 160 mph). The dealer said it is limited to 125 MPH because of the tires. There not Z rated. What the F*@K?!? $33,000 and some change only gets me a cheap set of tires? Please! If they're going to sell me a car with cheap tires, then don't put a HEMI in it!

Put Z rated tire on a Charger with a Hemi. Does the SRT 8 cut off at 125 MPH? I doubt it. It probably comes with Z rated tires. Overall I love my ride. I've had it 2 years now and just hit 10,000 miles. When I bought it came with the 3yr/36,000 warranty. I purchased a 6 yr./60,000 just in case.If they put a cheaper tire on it, who knows??

The power is something else, beets my mustang I had by a mile, much better ride,room and interior. Hemi power.

Replaced the standered tires, ride was what it should have been for a this car. Now have yokohama r60 h, much better ride and handling with these tires
