Transmission should be smoother in gear transitions. Automanual shifting should be forward/backward direction, not right/left, which is awkward. 2006 Chrysler Pacifica Review:
I purchased this car for my wife who is handicapped by a spinal problem. The seats are tremedously supportive and comfortable, more than any other vehicle we tested. The Pacifica is well-appointed, and for an American car the interior has remarkable fit, finish and a feel that rivals German manufacturers (Daimler's influence is evident). The handling is excellent for this large, heavy vehicle- it rides flat around curves and responds briskly with very slight FWD understeer, yet bumps in the road are virtually undetectable, thanks to the titanic tires and suspension. The seating arrangement is somewhat quirky but very original, and makes the vehicle stand out from the other clone SUVs, vans and crossovers. |

It is a nice looking car and is very roomy and makes a good family vehicle. Cons: How would you improve 2006 Chrysler Pacifica?
There are too many problems with the vehicle, electrical and mechanical. I just came out of a three year warranty and only have 37,000 miles on the vehicle and repairs are now coming up that cost $1000 or more. The reclining seat on the driver's side, headlights, and a tire rod had to be replaced. 2006 Chrysler Pacifica Review:
This car was too expensive and considering the cost, I wish the warranty would have been extended to at least 50,000 miles. This is disappointing. |

All I can say is wow! Exceptional design, very roomy, ton of not-so-standard features are in fact standard in the Limited, which I own.
Three kids all in carseats, and it's very easy to get in to for the most part.
Handles very well, brakes well, feel like safety met luxury and the hit it off... Cons: How would you improve 2006 Chrysler Pacifica?
A little more get up and go, and better fuel economy, which I think is effected by the need for stronger acceleration from stopped. Still, 18 mpg in a vehicle this size is solid.
Second row seating would benefit from a collapsible headrest when folding to enter the third row.. |

I love the seating, they are the most comfortable I have ever been in.
The look of it, I think is higher end. Cons: How would you improve 2006 Chrysler Pacifica?
The gas mileage sucks and the acceleration is horrible. I have owned it for 3 months and it has been in the shop twice, finally fixed (bad lifters) but now it sounds louder when I accelerate (maybe the exhaust). I am overall sad and think I need to unload this and quick. It also took Chrysler 4 days to get a part to the dealer to repair it.
I had my heart set on really enjoying this purchase and I am sort of disappointed. |

I love having plenty of space for my family. It rides sooo smooth on the highway. I've had it for 3mths now. I've always wanted one and I'm glad I chose it. My friends/family love it, especially the RED! Cons: How would you improve 2006 Chrysler Pacifica?

FUEL Economy Please.
Light up steering wheel controls. greater leg room in 3rd row seating. Blind spots. More room behind 3rd row seats. 2006 Chrysler Pacifica Review:
Overall, I like this car, only have 6,000 miles on it so far. No sign of oil consumption, although I have switched to synthic oil which seems to have improved miles per gallon. Have not seen left turn stall. Hope it doesnt happen. |

Own a 2005 Pacifica.
Looks great all over. Seemed like a great car for the money. It's not. 2006 Chrysler Pacifica Review:
Chrysler will not stand behind product. Been in the shop 5 times.
Leak in power steering fluid after one month.
Leak in windshield.
AWD had to be replaced at 18,0000 miles
Noise when turning. Been in shop 3 times for this.
still not fixed.
Chrysler not responding even tho' still under warranty.Would like to unload. |

I own a 2005 not a 2006 but would like to talk about the 2005 Pacifica. I like the way it handles on the road. It's solid. It's a good ride. Doesn't move around. It is comfortable. I've not had a bit of trouble in 21,000 miles. Cons: How would you improve 2006 Chrysler Pacifica?
The blind spots. The visibility is not the greatest and takes all the mirrors and head turning to back or change lanes. I got some convex mirrors to add to each side mirror which helps. 2006 Chrysler Pacifica Review:
I feel safe it this car. I was in a Saturn when was crashed into by a SUV. I wouldn't suggest that for anyone. I wanted a big auto after that. Pacifica fit the bill. And I've had no problems. Gas milage isn't great. It's not horrible. I'd rather feel safe than have great gas milage. |
