The ride, room, economy, THE LOOKS!!!, and safety features like 4 wheel disc brakes, ects. I love the fact that when it is dark the whole car lights up when I push the key fob to unlock. Wish I had the remote start, but can add that. Cons: How would you improve 2006 Chevrolet Impala?
Cupholders in door pockets like our Venture van, lighted vanity mirror for passenger and shaded top of windshield. The wide front pillars block view, oh ,a rear wing should come standard as you cannot see the end of the car when backing. 2006 Chevrolet Impala Review:

I love the style, both exterior and interior. I am a long legged dude and I don't need the seat all the way back to be comfortable. It's solid on the road and gives great gas mileage for this size car. I have the Flex-Fuel 3.5L and while I have yet to try E85, on regular unleaded we get 26 mpg on local trips and 31-32 mpg on long drives. Cons: How would you improve 2006 Chevrolet Impala?
The steering seems to be just a bit quick for me but then I am used to herding my old '81 Dodge Power Ram down the road. As I drive the Impala more I am getting more used to how it handles. Rear seat leg room is tight. 2006 Chevrolet Impala Review:
Overall I really like the '06 Impala, powerful, economical, and nice to look at, plus it cost thousands less than the competition. |

The body of the car I really love the style. Cons: How would you improve 2006 Chevrolet Impala?
Leg room in the back expecially the previous models "2001" by far had much more room, this one is much smaller in the back. The front still is very roomy do not change that leg room, this is the first car I have found with excellent leg room in the front, expecially for long legged guys you can move the seat back and your legs are not in the dash. Interior not as nice, seems cheep, but not as nice as previous Impala. Also I have notice a very noticable rattle in the front of my car since I got it. 2006 Chevrolet Impala Review:
Overall I love the chevy impala, but if it continue to decrease in size I will have to move on to a family size vehical. |

I bought an '06 Impala SS, and it's so much more car than the '04 Impala LS that I previously owned; much sleeker exterior, much improved interior; I just wish they had gotten more traditional with the rear styling and used 6 round taillights' also the front license plate holder is very flimsy and totally takes away from the look of the front of the car; it should have been integrated into the lower center area, below the bumper. I am a loyal Chevy owner, and this is a great car!! |

Well, lets just start off by saying I love this car! I really like the new body style and the new interior features/looks.The first time I rode in one it just took my breathe away. It was exhilerating.From the V8 engine to the XM satellite radio-its got it all.I had test driven just about everything including a Honda Accord. None managed to impress me that much,until I got to the Impala.The all new size engines and totally new design were the most impressing thing about, following its 5 star crash rating.I was really happy to see that they changed the design of the vents and the instrumental panals.Plus the MPG is awesome.The ride/performance is very outstanding comparing to other vehichles.Even with its 3.5 liter engine it is still a powerful car. So far I have really enjoyed it and I hope I continue to enjoy it. Cons: How would you improve 2006 Chevrolet Impala?
The main thing I would suggest to improve on is the smoothness of the ride.Another thing is the sturdiness of the dash and instrumental panels. After only seven months I already have a very quiet yet noticeable rattle when I pass over bumps.The final thing I would suggest is the space inside the car.Try to enlarge the leg room. 2006 Chevrolet Impala Review:
