My 2006 Z51 is incredible. Compared to the 2003 C5 that I previously owned, the new C6 series is far more refined with more attention to detail, fit and finish.The new 6 speed auto. transmission is an absolute "blast" to drive and the engine's power is astonishing! It has plenty of 21st. century gadgetry, if that's what you're into, but first and foremost, it's a Corvette! Need I say more? But be forewarned! If you take one for a test drive, you won't want to give it back! |

Love the hydraulic clutch and all the power/torque that goes with it! Car looks great and can be a real "intimidator!" Next up: a ZO6! True "Bang for the Buck." Euro driver wannabees: beware... Cons: How would you improve 2006 Chevrolet Corvette?
Upgrading to a 2008 model ... GM has addressed all of the minor nuances of the previous C6 model years:a little more power,slight increase in torque, interior upgrades and a bit more of an exhaust note (with the optional exhaust system)! |

The styling lines of the C6 is perfect. The power is breath taking. Cons: How would you improve 2006 Chevrolet Corvette?
Make the power top a standard feature on the convertible. To pay $61,000 and then manually put the top up and down is a little weak. (However I could have payed for the option) 2006 Chevrolet Corvette Review:
This is my second C6, the first a Victory Red Coupe and now a Black on Black Convertible. They always get a second look when you drive down the highway. |

Excellent power readily available. Very good, if not great handling. Beautiful exterior. Good milage for the horses. The semi-automatic gearbox is a nice feature, but lag in selector requires anticipation of shift points. |

The engine...what a powerplant, smooth and available... My "T" top has been off & on so many times I can do it in the dark. It's a masterpiece of simplicity by design coupled with perfect execution..well done Cons: How would you improve 2006 Chevrolet Corvette?
Get clever and come up with storage places and net bags on back of seats (love the dual rear comparments) 2006 Chevrolet Corvette Review:
Picked-up at the factory and drove Route 66 back to California via Mississippi a week BEFORE the 'big blow'! WOW! What a car, 3300miles in 9 days. No problems, great comfort, surprisingly good MPG, and NO tickets! Cabin noise is well less than a 737 and seating is far better...and it's just about as fast. The exterior design is silky. |

really like how the wheel comes out to your chest when you get in the car and I also like the built in map Cons: How would you improve 2006 Chevrolet Corvette?
The only improvement I think you could make is the design on the outside. Myself, I kind of like the oldstyle design. 2006 Chevrolet Corvette Review:
This car is the best car I have ever had. It drives like I want it to, but the only thing I don't like about it is the personal design of the car. Thanks for making such a car I love it I hope y'all will one day come up with even a better design than that is. |
