I like the looks of my crew cab truck.

Back seat head rest is very blinding when you're backing. 2006 Chevrolet Colorado Review:
I have a 2006 crew cab.
While inside my truck, my doors locked and I couldn't get out - even the driver window would not open. Had to come home, give the keys to someone to key open my door and let me out.
Also air condition works on 4 and just sometime on other temp. Door locks only works sometime I think I have a major electrical problem.
My truck only has 30,000 miles. |

Problems - Passlock lights comes on and truck won't start for 10 minutes, $800 to fix. 2006 Chevrolet Colorado Review:
Problem with Passlock security light. Truck thinks it is being stolen and it isn't. The Passlock light comes (sometimes it doesn't) and the truck will not start for 10-15 minutes (most of the time). Cost to get checked is $99, repairs in upwards of $700. Should not have to do these types of repairs with 37,000 miles. Auto dealer not very helpful. |

I have the extended cab four banger which is getting me 25 mpg average, with a five speed.
six foot bed and my kids can ride in the back.
Truck makes a lot of sense. |

do recall and figure out a way to improve the mpg i have one and it sucks i get about 10.5 miles per gallon i put 5 gallons of gas in it and got 47 miles on it before the fuell light came on.i took it to the dealer and they would not even check out why it was getting such bad fuel mileage. |

the colorado is a terrific truck, however, you cannot put a tool box onto one with a crew cab because of the fuel tank placement, it is right above the driver wheel well, and i have yet to find one to fit it dimension wise. |

Given the gas prices I would certainly say better fuel economy. If gas prices were not an issue I would like a little better performance 2006 Chevrolet Colorado Review:
The ride I find better than my wife's Forester (no kidding). The interior is comfortable for me and overall quality seems very good at 1 year of ownership. Routine maintenace is very easy. |
