| Pros: What do you like about 2006 Buick Rendezvous?
Have the CXL package.
Love the leather seats, roomy compartments for sunglasses, wallet, etc.
Lots of comfy space for my child and 3rd row seat option is nice when visiting my parents.
From the front it looks very sharp with the Buick logo and grill against the black exterior. Cons: How would you improve 2006 Buick Rendezvous?
Randomly it has issues starting. Same as another poster, it sputters about 3-4 times as though it won't start and then magically is does. It's been to the dealership twice and it never does it for them. Mine is also under warranty and I'm afraid I may end of paying for it once the issue is finally figured out.
I also feel the exterior rear view looks too minivan-esque. 2006 Buick Rendezvous Review:
Overall, I love this car.
I've had various Jeep vehicles and almost bought another, but the roominess of this vehicle won me over. It's comfortable to drive and ride in.
My main complaints are the starting issue and I wish it didn't look so much like a minivan from the rear view.
I LOVE the grill in front though and I do like the gas mileage. |

When I am driving at a steady speed, the RPM's start surging from around 2000 to 3000 RPM's on its own. I can't feel any change in the gas pedal, but you can definitely feel the car surging. It even does it when the cruise control is set. Not sure what the problem is yet, going to take it into the dealer and have them check it out. 2006 Buick Rendezvous Review:
Overall I really like this vehicle, it serves the functions I bought it for, which is room for kids, comfort and lots of options. I have always said that I would never own a mini-van, so this gives me the room without the mini-van feel. |

Put the Fuel filter on the gas line instead of in the fuel tank.
Replaced both front wheel hubs. Both control arms and tie rod ends. |

Most of the time it is very comfortable.
Seat warmers are great.
We had running boards put on because I am short.

We have owned the car three years. We had it in the shop to fix the heater about 19months ago. It is not heating on a regular basis now. Sometimes the passenger side is heated and the driver side is not. You put the control to work on the feet and it heats the upper part. We just made it home from CO before it got too cold. A/C seems to work fine. We have also had trouble with the back hatch staying locked. |

Easy to drive and park. Cons: How would you improve 2006 Buick Rendezvous?
Heavy tail gate--hard to open and shut.
Has an option called "on demand 4 wheel drive". Work when situation demands it. Excellent safety feature. But it is noisy at slow speeds when turning. Dealer fixed it once but now is getting bad again. Can't seem to duplicate the fix again. Almost wish it wasn't on our vehicle but it has saved us twice avoiding crashes when needed. |

Interior fit and finish, all around visibility, aided by best-in-class outside mirrors.
Excellent utility with good cargo capacity when the third row seat is down.
The 3.6 liter engine is capable of moving the vehicle when passing or pulling out into traffic. Cons: How would you improve 2006 Buick Rendezvous?

We bought this vehicle about three years and 60,000 miles ago. Average mileage for the three years is 20.4. We replaced a 2001 Honda Odyssey. The Buick is a better vehicle. Great utility, good driver set-up, and no service problems. If you are looking for good a value used SUV, take a look at a 2006/2007 Rendezvous. |

I have a problem with starting - sometimes it takes 3-4 tries (with sputturing nosies and it acts as if it wants to start) before it starts. I've taking it to the dealship 3 times and they can't find anything wrong...and it's still under warrenty, I just don't want them to find the problem and it be too late and I'll get stuck paying for it. 2006 Buick Rendezvous Review:

This is a very quiet, comfortable vehicle. My disabled wife can get into it easily even though it is AWD. I am 6'4" and have plenty of headroom. We just completed a 8 day 5000 mile trip in it and loved every minute of it. Cons: How would you improve 2006 Buick Rendezvous?

Steering and handling make it seem like I am driving a car, but with much better visibility. I did not opt for the 4WD and I am very happy in New England with traction control and front wheel drive. Cons: How would you improve 2006 Buick Rendezvous?

Everything is within arms reach. I love how I can do anything, barely taking my eyes off the road. I love my seat. It can be adjusted to anything. Also, it can be set to pull back when the ignition is shut off and reset when you start!. Cons: How would you improve 2006 Buick Rendezvous?

My Rendezvous has a very smooth, quiet ride. I feel comfortable in it, I sit very well. It is perfect for me. I am getting better and better gas mileage everyday! I am up to 20 mpg - that was a combination of highway and city driving for 40 miles. I thought that was pretty good. |
