Pros: What do you like about 2006 BMW 5-Series? Performance. Appearance. Style. Unusually solid. Racy luxury and luxurious race car. Fuel economy of the 530I is surprising terrific. Cons: How would you improve 2006 BMW 5-Series? A couple more inches of rear legroom. 2006 BMW 5-Series Review: Nothing drives like this...nothing. We look for reasons to go somewhere. We had two prior model 5 series over the years, which were absolutely terrific...didn't think I could like this more however we do!

Pros: What do you like about 2006 BMW 5-Series? Sharp-looking car. Ride is very smooth and luxurious. Cons: How would you improve 2006 BMW 5-Series? The 215hp 6-cyl. engine is too small for this size car. Premium sound system and CD changer should have come standard for this price. Turn signal lever and cruise control lever are too close to each other.

Pros: What do you like about 2006 BMW 5-Series? This is my second 5 Series and I absolutely love it, I leased a 2003 525 and now a 2006 530. Quite happy!! Cons: How would you improve 2006 BMW 5-Series? I think that for such an expensive car it should come with a 6 cd disc changer standard. When I leased my 2006 BMW called and I told them the same. 2006 BMW 5-Series Review: God willing more than likely I will be leasing another 5 Series in 2008.

Pros: What do you like about 2006 BMW 5-Series? the night side headlights, the auto open and close trunk, and the satelite streo system ... really the entire car, made with grace and elegance Cons: How would you improve 2006 BMW 5-Series? cup holders ... for sure and a place for change. Maybe a better dog barrier. 2006 BMW 5-Series Review: The BMW has no comparison on the road when it comes to a driving machine! We have a dog, haul paintings, and soon to have a child ... this car does it all. I agree that it's something everyone should drive.

Pros: What do you like about 2006 BMW 5-Series? Sirius satellite radio, good standard stereo, handling/power/fuel efficiency, comfortable and quiet ride, body style, phone system, head up display, I-Drive, build quality, roller blinds, heated seats and steering wheel, improved cup holders, lighter front end/structure, and larger back seat. Cons: How would you improve 2006 BMW 5-Series? Price is high compared to competition, but this is offset by a far superior vehicle and vast improvements over the previous generation 5 Series which was an excellent car. 2006 BMW 5-Series Review: This is my third BMW, and I currently own a 2001 540i that is a great car. This new 2006 530i is an amazing and better car, and I don't understand what the various auto magazines are thinking in their reviews! This car is an outstanding blend of quickness, agility, comfort, build quality, and amazing technical features. The iDrive is actually easy to use and very cool. The sports suspension and seats are more comfortable than past 5 series while handling better, thanks to the active roll bar technology. The 530i engine has solid power with 255 HP and great fuel efficiency - gettng about 30 MPG highway and good economy with stop and go driving.

Pros: What do you like about 2006 BMW 5-Series? Handling, transmission, exterior styling, X-Drive, Adaptive Headlights, I-Drive and seats. Cons: How would you improve 2006 BMW 5-Series? Could use a bit more interior storage and improved cups holders. 2006 BMW 5-Series Review: 530xi is a wonderful car to own and drive. Handling is incredible and has plenty of power. Great control at high speeds and through aggressive cornering. Steptronic shifts very smooth during rapid acceleration. Nice ride while still having a good feel of the road. Interior is comfortable and not overdone with bling. Love the iDrive, which is also fun for new passengers to navigate menus.

Pros: What do you like about 2006 BMW 5-Series? The engine is a propulsion marvel not because of its power (there are more powerful engine in this range), but again its balance and sound. Handling. Panorama roof and idrive. Build quality. Cons: How would you improve 2006 BMW 5-Series? Not enough storage nooks and I got the old style iDrive controller knob, instead of the new design (a la Audi) 2006 BMW 5-Series Review: I just came back from Europe where a large percentage of cars is wagon. I was looking for something different than a sedan, and definitely not an SUV. (I own one). I was leaning toward an A4 Avant with the sweet 2.0 l turbo engine. When I saw the 530xi I bought it the same day afternoon. The balance of the car is so unique that I don't know of anything else in this price range. It has been a pure delight.

Pros: What do you like about 2006 BMW 5-Series? Handling, suspension, build quality, comfort. Great fuel economy. iDrive not that hard to learn and lots of fun to use. Voice command system lets you keep your hands on the wheel for safer driving. Cons: How would you improve 2006 BMW 5-Series? BMW should give owners more detailed info on pairing up their cell phone to the Blue Tooth system on their car. Should change software to allow voice commands for other functions to be used without Navigation System. Without Nav Sys you can only use voice commands with phone system. 2006 BMW 5-Series Review: This is my first BMW and I'm extremely impressed. My next door neighbor sells BMW's and gave me a great deal on my new 06 530i. I've come close to purchasing a BMW on 2 other occasions in the past 5 years but didn't do it. I'd have to say that this is by far the best car I've ever owned in my 55 years of living. I don't agree with the criticism this car has received regarding the iDrive and it's exterior design. Driving this car is pure joy and like nothing I've ever driven before. Power, handling and comfort are fantastic. If you're not sure about this car, a test drive or two will make you a believer.

Pros: What do you like about 2006 BMW 5-Series? Steptronic 6 gear clutchless is amazing. What a thrill to use! Adaptive steering improves already impressive feel and handling. Cons: How would you improve 2006 BMW 5-Series? Cupholders and storage are less than adequate. Tinted windows would be much more preferable to the sun shades. 2006 BMW 5-Series Review: Bought the xi AWD version a few months ago and it drives like a dream. Incredible machine. Test drove Audi and Lexus but BMW still leads the pack. You must drive to believe. Full 4 year/50K mile maintenance was the kicker for me.

Pros: What do you like about 2006 BMW 5-Series? Heated steering wheel, heated seats, interior red glow night light to very subltly light the interior, like an airplane. Trunk size is fabuous. I wish I got comfort access and satellite radio. Cons: How would you improve 2006 BMW 5-Series? iPod connection. 2006 BMW 5-Series Review: I'm really loving this car! The one thing people should know is that the iDrive is great! It so isn't something you have to use every time you drive. Instead it is a way to customize your settings, i.e. air flow, radio stations, what part of the seat you want heated (back, bottom, or both). Then, you can control those things just like you would normally, on the dash (or the steering wheel). I was originally thinking if I had to keep doing this computer mouse thing I would be sure to get in an accident but it is really a streamlining of controls.

Pros: What do you like about 2006 BMW 5-Series? 4X Drive. Xenon, moving headlights. Seating is sporty and comfortable. The open/close trunk, front-loading single CD. Panoramic Roof. Overall great! Cons: How would you improve 2006 BMW 5-Series? I drive still needs perfecting, firm and stiff reaction to potholes needs some softening, one more side netted pocket on drivers side and/or deeper door storage pockets. 2006 BMW 5-Series Review: Having owned the previous 540ti Wagon model (w/V8), this is a clear positive evolution. Drives like a road-gobbling sedan. Surprising torque leaves me missing the V8 only slightly. The car reminds me of its safe, but thrilling ride. Love it!

Pros: What do you like about 2006 BMW 5-Series? iDrive, Looks of interior and exterior, Drive, Fuel Economy, Premium Package (Ambience lighting) Leather. What can I Say, it is just true luxury car, nothing is close to BMW. Cons: How would you improve 2006 BMW 5-Series? iPod integration kit for iDrive(not there yet). Relocate Cup Holders to center console, Head light washing at drivers will, Add a little compass to show N E W S, Store the positon of Rear View mirror inside into memory functions. Change the pokey key to something similar to Mercedes key. 2006 BMW 5-Series Review: In 2003, my friend bought 325i. Since then I just fell for looks, but I didn't like the size. So I have been dreaming to get 5 series. This 06 model coming in all wheel drive, motivated me to buy 525xi. It's my dream come true. I like the way they redesigned the exterior different for each class. That way, any one can recognize which series is it, from front and back :). 3 series owners may not like it, but I love it.

Pros: What do you like about 2006 BMW 5-Series? Everything is so right about this car. Bluetooth and the power rear door are wonderful features. Handling and fuel economy are sweet extras. Cons: How would you improve 2006 BMW 5-Series? BMW got it right with the 530 wagon. Bought for replacement for wife's SUV and I wish she would toss me the keys more often. Still pretty new but I can't think of anything to make it better. 2006 BMW 5-Series Review: Create more usable space under the cargo area. Put cruise control back on steering wheel instead of being too close to turn signal stalk.
