| Pros: What do you like about 2006 Acura MDX?
I've only owned this SUV for 1 week but I'm very pleased with the performance. I think the ride is smooth, it accelerates without hesitation, the sound system isn't bad. I have rear entertainment system but haven't put it to use yet. Cons: How would you improve 2006 Acura MDX?
I would include eyeglass holder, roof rack should have cross bars, I know the 2009 comes with ipod hookup, I wish the 2006 did too. I would have liked that cargo door didn't unlock when all other doors are unlocked. 2006 Acura MDX Review:
So far I'm enjoying my MDX and I think I'll get a good couple more years from it. I bought this car certified and I'm happy with my choice. |

Its exterior appearance is within impressive look. Smooth ride, average look on its interior luxury accessories; third row space is just good for young children and becomes tight for average young adults. On its size of the car, i think the engine power drives good enough for the ride even with full passengers. Cons: How would you improve 2006 Acura MDX?
Definitely the tire humming sound when driven within 45 miles in the side street and 70 miles in the freeway that really so annoying. Need roof rail along with the cross bar. Wind noise is another annoyance when driven in the freeway. |

| Cons: How would you improve 2006 Acura MDX?
The breaks on the 2006 acura mdx wear to soon. After only 14,000 miles I needed new pads front and back and rotors in the rear. Is this a reoccurring problem for 2006 MDX???? |

Turbulence/vibration..Had wheels balanced/transmission/transaxle replaced..no improvement. problem persists throughout freeway driving range 85 km to 125 km(e.g. 55-85MPH)..Any suggestions for next steps??...Vehicle 5 mos old/7500 miles. |

The ride, acceleration and comfort are incredible. The pick up is smooth and seamless. The overall ride is extremely quiet and comfortable. Cons: How would you improve 2006 Acura MDX?

The MDX is a very nicely built car. It is comfortable and rides like a dream. It is quiet and accellerates nicely without any laboring. Its gas mileage is good for the size vehicle. It does however lack some amenities that I think should be standard on all models since this is a luxury car, ie. power liftgate, memory seats and mirrors, telescoping steering wheel, power passenger seats. |

I have my MDX for one week. I already owned an MDX before that was excellent. Drives great, silent engine and good navigation system. the Rear entertainment system is a life saver with small kids. Since I bought the new MDX I hear the wind noise in the car when driving at 70 mph. Unusual, specially that I owned one before. The navigation system is improved however seems less accurate than in the 2004 model. Fuel consumption is moderate at 14 mpg. |

I really like the gauge display because it is readable. I really like the navigation display. DVD player for my 2 kids is nice. Great sounding V6, I am not afraid to pull out in front of traffic Cons: How would you improve 2006 Acura MDX?
I dislike the way this truck accelerates. It seems to slag across the rpms and doesnt get any oopm until 5,000 rpms But only in city driving. Idk maybe it is just mine. I hate the middle seatbelt in the ceiling. It rolls into corners alot. Needs a 6 speed automatic. and that automanual pseudo thing. 2006 Acura MDX Review:

I love the fact it tells me the windshield fluid is low!!! The heated mirrors and seats are nice. The leather interior is very comfortable and easy to clean. The car is so responsive and rides so smooth - a noticeable difference from all of the Honda's I have owned. Reliability!!! Cons: How would you improve 2006 Acura MDX?
The ignition, the coin tray and the steering wheel controls should be illuminated. The rear wiper control is not easily accessible to someone with small hands (a woman like me for example). The hatch is very heavy to pull down, even for me (an average sized person) so I think it should be electric 2006 Acura MDX Review:
An avid Honda fan, I decided I was at the age where I deserved a little more luxury. However, with two kids and two dogs, a sports sedan wasn't going to cut it. Our MDX is so smooth and fun to drive, yet it offers all the things we need as a family. It is very spacious and feels sturdy and responsive on the road. It brakes well and handles rough roads easily. The gas mileage is suprisingly good for such a large and powerful vehicle. We use regular gas most of the time, and the gas mileage does not appear to be affected significantly. We enjoy our MDX very much and feel safe in it. I highly recommend purchasing the optional side molding as we did - I do not have one ding to speak of. |
