Pros: What do you like about 2005 Saturn RELAY?
It handles real well.
Bought right off the dealer lot and absolutely love it.

Cons: How would you improve 2005 Saturn RELAY?
Like most cars now there is way too much plastic and when things do wear out you can't replace them because they are all plastic and can't fix properly.

2005 Saturn RELAY Review:
Over all I absolutely love my relay and would buy another. I've read the other reviews and feel so lucky that any problems that I have had the dealers took care of promptly.

Pros: What do you like about 2005 Saturn RELAY?
DVD player is a lifesaver! For the price, it's a great vehicle especially when you have kids! We had an HHR before, which is quite a bit smaller than the Relay and they seem to get about the same gas mileage. I get twice as much interior room though and that's what I like the most.

Cons: How would you improve 2005 Saturn RELAY?
ABS light is always on, wheel bearing went out and after replacing it ABS went off temporarily and now stays on constantly.
The power sliding door seems to have a mind of its own, sometimes it won't shut and says "object detected" but there's nothing blocking the doorway!
Electrical problems are really the only big issues I've noticed.

It's a great car with good mpgs and nice roomy interior for the price but definitely have it looked at before you buy because there are some electrical bugs that can pop up.

The automatic doors never close right and open when I'm driving. Big safety issue when you have kids, which is why I bought it to begin with.
And electrical problems galore and who needs a mini van with rims that are made for a Mercedes?
Tires are always an issue and very expensive.

Overall, BAD choice to pick a Saturn and believe they would stand behind their product when major safety issues are at stake and kids' lives, too. Never again.

I had electrical issues, tires had to be replaced, power steering pump leak, door issues repeatedly, etc...

I got rid of it!!! Happy about it!

I just wish Saturn would help me out with me new purchase as the vehicle lost $30,000.00 in value due to issues with this vehicle.

Owned since July 07. In the shop ten times, a total of 5 weeks. Electrical nightmares are beyond reasonable. I want to get rid of it.

The van is not bad the tires cupped and had to be replaced at 11000 miles,and its been back serveral time to the dealer for the starter staying ingaged,and still does it

Still under warantee, done had 2 sets of tires, mine keep cupping them? My molding on the exteroir had to be replaced, it molded. Had to have setbelt replaced 3 times, it keeps tearing. Got stuck in park, would not move over 34 times. Shall i go on?

I love the basic van. I didn't want a ton of extras. My Relay is basic with one power sliding door.

Cons: How would you improve 2005 Saturn RELAY?
When the power door is turned off... It should be off. No shutting the door only to be stopped because the van wants to shut it by its self. I shouldn't have to argue with the toddler to get in the seat and the door to close!

Overall I love it. The door issue seems to be related to how cold it is outside. The DVD is a great feature for long trips.
