Very reliable.

Access to rear seats a problem.
Much narrower interior than my 1999.
Tough to clean the grille.

Very powerful van.
Like the interior lights.
Good at night.
It looks nice.
Traction control is a nice feature.

Cons: How would you improve 2005 Pontiac SV6?
More room, it's hard to get into the back seats, when the 2nd row is full.
It rides like a truck.

nothing....the dealership wouldn't replace the crap tires they sold me with this new vehicle....

make sure engine light doesn't ever come on!!!

2005 Pontiac SV6 Review:
I would not tell anyone to buy one....My engine light came on and it has turned into $2600 of they can't quite fix it...because it sure isn't running the way it was before the light came on....and strangely enough...they cannot fix the problem...this is a Pontiac dealership mind you.....yeah, don't buy one!!!!

Great looking mini-van, nice on inside as well.

Cons: How would you improve 2005 Pontiac SV6?
The sliding doors stink!! Came open twice driving with kids in the car! Been in for repair under warrenty six times.

2005 Pontiac SV6 Review:
I am SCARED to death to drive this van. It is unsafe. The power sliding doors do not latch properly and have opened twice while driving. Kids lean on the doors all the time and I am so afraid to put my kids in the middle captains chairs. BEWARE of this van!! Dealer working to help. GM not any help so far and not fixing the problem. I have many hours logged in the waiting room just to return the next month with the same problem. I have been a loyal GM customer for 25 years and this is the second GM Pontiac Montana I have owned (loved the first one), but I may not be now!!
