Plenty of power, rides good, looks good, and when you put a leveling kit and a nice set of wheels and tires on it looks even better. Cons: How would you improve 2005 Nissan Titan?

Front bumper is horrible 2005 Nissan Titan Review:
Finally, my 2005 Titan has had a noise in the rear for some time. It has gotten noticeably worse. My grandson and I, after having it to several shops, decided to see if we could detect the problem. We discovered the the right (passenger) spring is different from the (left) driver side by 1 1/2". Apparently, when the truck was assembled the incorrect spring was installed on the truck. Now after hauling loads, etc. (93,000 miles) the top of the right spring hanger is engaging with the lip on the bed of the truck. After all this time, what can be done? |

RELIABILITY, THIS TRUCK SPENDS MORE TIME @ DEALER FOR REPAIR THAN ON THE ROAD. 2005 Nissan Titan Review:
VERY DISAPOINTED WITH TRUCK OVERALL. DRIVE TRAIN IS CONSTANT PROBLEM WITH VERY EXPENSIVE REPAIRS THAT NISSAN WILL NOT HELP WITH. THIS TRUCK DOES NOT HOLD UP WELL OVER TIME. NISSAN HAS A MAJOR PROBLEM WITH ITS FRONT AND REAR DIFFERENTIAL DRIVE LINE COMPONETS. |

By sending it back down a Toyota assembly line! 2005 Nissan Titan Review:
This truck stays in the shop. I have had to replace the rear axle, brakes several times, it has been recalled for electrical problems, the transmission cooling hoses have been replaced twice, flat tires, the list goes on & on. I traded in a 2003 Dodge Ram for this truck & this truck is really no better than it was. The Titan drives much better than the Dodge, when it's not in the shop! Nissan's quality is no better than the Big 3 & it certainly isn't as good as Honda or Toyota. I will not buy another Nissan! |
