I have 2002 Jeep Liberty. It is nice and big, great in mountains rides. Cons: How would you improve 2005 Jeep Liberty?
My 2002 1st bad engine blew up. My 2nd engine is having problems and low gas mileage. It goes through a lot of gas. I have a lot new parts on it and it doesn't run well. How can I get better gas mileage? |

STYLE AND SIZE ARE GREAT Cons: How would you improve 2005 Jeep Liberty?
Seats were scotched guard but stain with the rain, they must have used sacred water with no scotch in it. 2005 Jeep Liberty Review:
Acceleration sucks or stalls out after take off has dead spot. Customer service is non responsive at dealers in Indiana. I bought 4 Jeeps for business cars after using Nissan for 15 years, I will return to Nissan as service is great and with a smile. I have seen any dealers with a smile upon arrival. They must all hate waiting on customers. I complained about warranty items and they thought I was joking and never called me back about the built in fog lite covers that defaced in 6 months, they just gave feeble minded excuses why it was wear and tear, but they are defective by design! I am 62 and and have bought over 309 cars in my life time from Jaguar to Corvette and Mustang, I know when I am being fleeced and lied to by dealers reps whose sole being is to give honest answers to help customers. |

Love the style of this jeep. This is the first one I've owned. Has great get up and go power when on the highway. Cons: How would you improve 2005 Jeep Liberty?
Not enough cargo space in rear. Should be just a tad bit longer. Putting the window controls on the center console is useless unless you only have the right arm to drive with. Should have the center console larger for storage and cup holders aren't very convenient as they sit to far back. 2005 Jeep Liberty Review:
I really like this Jeep but am having a problem with it having fuel surges when going 30 or less miles per hour. It acts like it's going to stall out and then kicks back in. Real herky jerky. Does any body else have this problem? |

Not much, and definately not now. Ball joints break - very unsafe. Paint bubbles, interior seats stain with water. Cons: How would you improve 2005 Jeep Liberty?

Recently had ball joint arm break. This was the 2ND ball joint replacement. Accident could have been deadly if I were not in my driveway when this occurred. DO NOT BUY LIBERTY - THEY ARE JUNK. I have always purchased Jeep products, and this will be my very last. Poor quality, and chrysler is the worst to work with. All calls that I have made have been sent to their call center in India. The representitive could not understand what I was trying to tell him. He would not get his supervisor, as he thought my sun visor in the jeep was broken. Get my point. |

I like the short turning radius. Parking is a breeze, turning around in tight quarters is a breeze.Mine has the 2.8 four cylinder diesel that gets 22mpg in town and almost 30mpg highway. Cons: How would you improve 2005 Jeep Liberty?
omit lower moulding is too close to running board. that was not on the 2002 I owned previously. bigger glove box. put power window switches on door and make center console larger. Roof luggage rack should have cross pieces standard and protective strips on roof. Stretch body at least eight to twelve inches and use it for larger cargo area. 2005 Jeep Liberty Review:
Handles well and claws through snow with ease. I use mine to go out in field and haul heavy trailer full of firewood. Never gets stuck and pulls load with ease. The leather seats are very comfortable. Recommend them to anyone thinking of buying Liberty. |

I like the handling. It turns on a dime. The interior has a lot of space with the back seat folded down. Cons: How would you improve 2005 Jeep Liberty?
I would like to see an improvement on gas mileage. With the cost of gas prices going up I put anywhere from $70-$80 in gas a week. Also the cloth seats stain even when water touches it. Another thing I dislike is that I've had a recall on my lower ball-joints and I've only had the car since Feb2002 and I've had to replace a sticky caliper in the rear brakes. 2005 Jeep Liberty Review:
I am unsatisified with this vehicle. I wish I'd done more research before buying this car. There are more eco-friendly cars out there. I will never buy a Jeep again. |
