Top 5 Pros of 2005 Hyundai Santa Fe
Top 5 Cons of 2005 Hyundai Santa Fe

Guide: 5=Perfect; 3=Good; 1=PoorPros: What do you like about 2005 Hyundai Santa Fe?
It handles curves like a sports car. It's very dependable. It can pull a 3500 lb. travel trailer very nicely. The seats are so comfortable that driving across the country is no problem. No aches in the body at all. Love it! Love it! Love it!
Cons: How would you improve 2005 Hyundai Santa Fe?
Factory sunroof option with every vehicle, not just top of the line.
2005 Hyundai Santa Fe Review:
Along with nitrogen in the tires, this vehicle is better than a sports car and with extra space to carry lots of stuff. I wish that they still made this style of Santa Fe. It's a perfect machine from top to bottom. The people at Hyundai are the best too!

Guide: 5=Perfect; 3=Good; 1=Poor2005 Hyundai Santa Fe Review:
I have an '05 Sante Fe and I have driven the wheels off of it. This vehicle has been driven almost everyday of its life and I have had no problems or complaints. I have 118k miles on it and it has never let me down. I still get 22.5 MPG and that is at 80-85MPH 80% of the time. It has enough power to get out of the way and is very easy to drive. I am very comfortable riding in it. I would definitely recommend this vehicle.
I also had a 2004 Sonata that I put almost 60k on it in a year and a half with no problems either. It was a great car and hauled but (had it at 135MPH once, seriously) and got good gas mileage (around 25-27). I just wanted an SUV so I got rid of it.

Guide: 5=Perfect; 3=Good; 1=PoorPros: What do you like about 2005 Hyundai Santa Fe?
I like everything (easy to drive, good reaction in curves, good comfort, etc.) with exception for the heavy noise while driving at over 100km/hour (or +-60miles/hour).
I like it enough to seriously be thinking about replacing this 2005 by a 2011 or 2012 "Limited". Would somebody you also had a 2005 (or 2006) and has now replaced it for a 2011 or 2013 model be able to tell me if the heavy noise problem at relatively high speed is still a concern?
By the way, considering that Hyundai is offering a 0% interest for 60 months on purchase of a Santa Fe Limited 2012 at $+-37,000., would somebody have an idea of the potential additional rebate one could get on the purchase of this vehicle?
Cons: How would you improve 2005 Hyundai Santa Fe?
By finding a way to cut the noise while driving at or over 100km/hr (60 miles/hr).

Guide: 5=Perfect; 3=Good; 1=PoorPros: What do you like about 2005 Hyundai Santa Fe?

Guide: 5=Perfect; 3=Good; 1=PoorPros: What do you like about 2005 Hyundai Santa Fe?
Overall I love my vehicle.
It has great gas mileage and rides well.
I keep all the service up to date, just had the serpentine belt changed, live in hot weather and it was drying out.
Cons: How would you improve 2005 Hyundai Santa Fe?
Better a/c distribution for rear passengers.
Cupholders awkward.
2005 Hyundai Santa Fe Review:
Priced and value closely match.

Guide: 5=Perfect; 3=Good; 1=PoorPros: What do you like about 2005 Hyundai Santa Fe?
Pretty much everything. My wife really loves this vehicle for carting the kids around and other in-town driving errands. I like it as the V6 has surprising power and the vehicle drives really smooth at highway speeds. Overall interior space is decent especially since I got the dealership to throw in a roof-top cargo box for added storage on campming and vacation trips.
Cons: How would you improve 2005 Hyundai Santa Fe?
Include decent floor mats.
2005 Hyundai Santa Fe Review:

2005 Hyundai Santa Fe Review:
We love our Santa Fe. Bought it used, but it's like new. Handles well and the manual shiftronic is really handy. Best of all worlds. It offers great value, and is much more nimble than you would think. Lots of room in the front and back seats.
