It has lots of pep and handles well. Cons: How would you improve 2005 Ford Escape?
It's lousy on gas. I get better gas mileage with my old Grand Cherokee. |

Gas mi is terrible - 13 overall.
It had continals tires it was terribly noisy. I put mastercraft tires on it. It is as quiet as my cad now. |

Better gas mileage.
Spent about 2 grand about a year ago replacing blown cylinders, just past warranty of course. Sounds like it might be happening again. 2005 Ford Escape Review:

I like that it is a smaller suv. Also that you can fold the seats down very easily. Cons: How would you improve 2005 Ford Escape?
All I can say is thank God for warranties because my Escape has been in the shop more times then it has been out. I have replaced the transfer case, transmission housing unit, the computer (which also fried the spark pugs and I had to pay for a complete tune up on it). I had to replace roters, breaks, and battery all in the first year that I owned it. It was sold to me with 32,000 miles on it. I thought I was getting a great deal... but I was wrong. I have decided to get rid of it, it now has 47000 miles on it. I hope the next owner has better luck. 2005 Ford Escape Review:

I bought my Ford Escape new in 2005. I purchased the 4 cyclinder for the better gas mileage. I LOVE it. For a four cyclinder it does very well with get up and go. Rides great. But like the others say, you definately notice the air noise at high speeds, but is not an issue with me. The only issue I have had is some inside rust on the back hatch which was taken care of with not issues. Would surely buy another. |

It is very lite
economic in gas,I can make 400 miles per gas tank.it is practicle ,great size,comftable,great visibility,very very good when I have to do some manuver and much more Cons: How would you improve 2005 Ford Escape?

Its a zippy little truck. I have 4cyld 5 speed manual trasmission Cons: How would you improve 2005 Ford Escape?
The center console is to close to the cup holders and you cannot put 2 cups in the 2 holders at the same time
I woould put a manual 4x4 button. you dont know if its in 4 wheel drive or not. 2005 Ford Escape Review:
