Since May of this year, the right outter tie rod end has been replaced, a leak from the driver's side of the front timing cover was resealed, and now, the throttle body needs to be replaced (it's on backorder - the wait is two months). The icing on the cake? My car only has 51,000 miles on it . :( |

tons of power, large in size but doesn't feel like it. love the autostick, feature, great sound system for stock. comfortable car. did I mention the POWER? Cons: How would you improve 2005 Dodge Magnum?

With out a doubt this car is mean looking on the outside and mean under the hood. Men, you have to go straight for the RT or the SRT8, the V6 is for women. Its like buying a V6 camaro, just not the same. My sis bought the V6 and she loved it until she drove my RT with a upgrade on the dual ehaust system and is now her husband is regreting even buying the V6 model. To those who have the RT or the SRT8 more power to you, if u know what i mean and to those with the V6, UPGRADE, youll thank me... Cons: How would you improve 2005 Dodge Magnum?
Changing the ehaust system made my RT that much more lovable to drive. Thats the only thing i didnt like when i bought it, now lucille really purrs on the road. 2005 Dodge Magnum Review:
Great car for your buck and enjoyable to drive, especially on the highway at night on lake shore drive, sexy. No regrets at all, dodge good job. 2008 head lamps are ugly, should have done more with the exhaust system to make it sound more muscular. 1st gear is a turd, it feels like the throttle is electronically limited. Upgrade the dash material and make a rear seat flip down DVD for the kids... 2005 Dodge Magnum Review:
Its a great car with stunning looks, I might recommend a bit taller high gear to get better fuel economy with todays higher speed limits. The car rides nice but has a bit of a boat like pitching, the steering in sweeping corners doesnt feel as goods as it should, its quite numb and the car tends to want to find its own line than be driven through a corner. the Eibach springs eliminate this, perhaps a upgraded spring and shock package would be a nice improvement. |

It is the most stylish car on the road today. Awsome design. Cons: How would you improve 2005 Dodge Magnum?
The 2.7 liter engine was a big mistake. The base modle should have came with a super charger or something. It has no get up-n-go about it at all. It should have at least 210 hp; rather than a buck 90. Its too big of a car for 190 hp to carry around. Other cars are coming out with other options for their base modles. (i.e. 07 Altimas) 2005 Dodge Magnum Review:
Over all, I love the car. It fits me like a glove. Hopefully I will be aloud to upgrade my SE to a SXT, or RT. |

get rid of that nappy crap on the back of the seats. nothing but a dog hair catcher, too hard to vacuum. secure the rear quarter panels and make better tires available for the 18" wheels, the continentals suck. 2005 Dodge Magnum Review:
Reminds me of driving my 55 Chev SD/DEL but the suspenstion is sooo much better. Move cup holders, soft drink cups get in the way of forearm when shifting. |
