Better warranty. The year after I bought mine, GM comes out with the 100,000 mile warranty. They should extend it back a year. 2005 Chevrolet Colorado Review:
Was a great truck until it turned 54,000 miles. Then the upper manifold gasket went on it, making a vacuum loss and improper gas/air mixture occur. This extra gas ruined an O2 sensor and I need them replaced. Yes, at 54,000 miles, I'd say it's a bit early. I might expect this at 100 K, but not at 54K. GM never recalled them for valve seals that were bad when put in, but offer to pay for this issue, not my manifold gasket leak.. Was it made of the same defective rubber? |

Some brighter, snazzier interior options--wait, they're in the HUMMER H3! Okay, then perhaps a long-engine bay opton to house a performance L6? 2005 Chevrolet Colorado Review:
This truck has been so-so'd by much of the automotive press. But they seem to have ignored how much of a bargain it is. It's a terrific second vehicle that happens to be very practical for trips to Home Depot, especially with the kids in the 4-door version. Fuel economy and driving are middle of the road: reasonably comfortable, reasonably quiet, reasonably peppy. Our 2005 Colorado 4-door has served us well. |

The pax door has no key lock. The frontend eats up tires literally every 6 months. This needs re engineered. Their are no drain holes in truck bed. 2005 Chevrolet Colorado Review:
This is not one of the best models produced by Chevy and I regret buying for the wife. I am tired of replacing new tires with insides shredded. In short vehicle won't alignment. and factory doesn't cover problem because tires are wear item. |

Front end leaves much to be desired. I have 51,000 miles on my truck and been through 4 sets of tires. they just can't seem to find out what is wrong 2005 Chevrolet Colorado Review:
If they can figure the darn front end problem, would be a prety good truck bit at the price of the tires for this bab just can't say that now |

The roominess. I have grown children who still like to go places with me and they are comfortable in the back seat when traveling for a couple of hours. Cons: How would you improve 2005 Chevrolet Colorado?

Awful. Unreliable. Numerous problems and recalls. I've had trouble with the power steering not catching or dropping off. One recall for the brake lights. One I am currenlty having with a leaking intake valve, misfires. No power, body squeaks. |
