| Pros: What do you like about 2005 Buick Rendezvous?
I love the exterior design.
The car's performance in traffic .. it's never let me down, ie: sluggish, left me on the side of the road, etc. I have had my Rendevous 5 yrs.
The roomy interior is perfect, however, I couldn't give it a perfect score due to numerous problems. When you pay $30,000 for a car ... it's hard to deal with all the problems later and smile. Cons: How would you improve 2005 Buick Rendezvous?
Had to replace ball joints due to manufacturer defect, which was covered under the extended warranty. Rear end is now going out from damage to it from all the wear and tear that we THOUGHT was bad tires before.
Gas mileage is very poor but replacing the ball joints in the car ... that was possibly damaged from the day we bought it.. because it helped the gas mileage. We went from getting 18 mpg to getting 21 mpg in the car. (This the average as per the car setting).
Seats in the car get dirty very fast... I can't seem to keep them clean. Unfortunately we no longer have an extended warranty. 2005 Buick Rendezvous Review:

It burns a lot of gas not sure if there is a problem with the gas gauge on mine but it always goes up and down. 2005 Buick Rendezvous Review:

I just bought the Rendezvous last month after 20 years of driving various Chrysler mini-vans (which I loved, but ALL were oil burners and had transmission issues.) I LOVE the Rendezvous; I have the CXL, AWD. The AWD has been great with all the snow/ice we had last month. The mileage is good, lots of room, good looks and nice interior. The heated seats are great! Cons: How would you improve 2005 Buick Rendezvous?
You don't get much floor heat when you have a combination of defrost/floor or vent/floor heat. Only three little vents next to the gas pedal. |

make it easier to get into the third row seats. If you have a carseat in the second row, there is no way to get into the third row. I have 2 car seats, one on each side, my 11 year old climbs out the back hatch to get out. 2005 Buick Rendezvous Review:

I bought mine recently, it is used with over 61k miles. So far, so good!! Love all the room and it rides so nicely. Far as I can tell, everything is great. Cons: How would you improve 2005 Buick Rendezvous?
With one exception-the mileage, but it is a heavy vehicle, so I imagine thats to be expected. 2005 Buick Rendezvous Review:
For my vehicle personally, I have no complaints. I can drive it almost like a small car because it handles so well. My family loves the room and storage. Just hoping it stays this way!! |

I would NOT recommend the 2005 year. I have had to replace too many parts on it for a Buick. Transmission, etc. not good. If under 60,000 my advice, get rid of it. |

Handles very well. All seats are comfortable. Lots of room for passengers and hauling. Cons: How would you improve 2005 Buick Rendezvous?

Horsepower 2005 Buick Rendezvous Review:
I will never buy another Rendezvous it has only 50,000 miles and I had to add 3 quarts of trans fluid which means a big leak somewhere. Also, after owning a Honda the Buick feels like driving a tank. The inside is comfortable and it looks sharp but the Rendezvous is under powered and rides rough not worth the money I paid for it. I will never buy a GM product again. |
